Christopher Steinocher

Christopher Steinocher is President and CEO of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
He joined the Chamber in February of 2011 and is responsible for the vision, strategic direction, fundraising and overall operations of the Chamber.
Prior to the Chamber, Mr. Steinocher was with the Tampa Bay Partnership as COO and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development – a job he held for 17 years – helping start the regional economic development group.
Mr. Steinocher was also the AVP of Marketing for Fortune Bank, a Tampa Bay based bank with 46 branch locations throughout Florida’s west coast and was responsible for branch promotions, corporate identity and brand management.
He has over 27 years experience in marketing and community development, 25 of which have been in the St. Petersburg region.

Chris Cate

Amy Sauers

Dr. Amy Sauers is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship in the College of Business at St. Petersburg College. She specializes in relationship marketing and market research. Her vision of learning is that her students can do anything they set their minds to do and she is here to help them do that.

Dr. Sauers earned her Ph.D. in Marketing Communication from the University of Connecticut where she enjoyed teaching and researching top consumer companies including Best Buy, Apple, HP, and Verizon. Her research uncovered how customers move through relationship stages with these companies, their salespeople, and their products.

Dr. Sauers was the Director of Marketing, Customer Analytics for the financial startup, Revolution Money, Inc., before joining SPC in Fall 2008. Dr. Sauers consults as The Customer Dr. working with data on top brands and businesses using market research to uncover customer potential and drive business strategy.

Since leading the Entrepreneurship sub-plan at the College of Business, she was a winner in the 2009 StarTec IdeaCamp Contest for her startup, VivaVidi. Dr. Sauers' leads workshops in the community and in schools so students are encouraged to start their businesses while still in school. Amy Sauers has enjoyed nurturing veteran entrepreneurs in an SPC-SCORE Certificate Program. In addition, she began a startup incubator/market test lab (see to further support students, entrepreneurs, and business connections and the Tampa Bay entrepreneurial eco-system.

She is the author of Effective Customer Relationship Management: How Emotion Drives Sustainable Success. Recently, Dr. Sauers' research has included surveying entrepreneurship thought leaders on their views about new ideas about entrepreneurship. Daniel James Scott

Daniel is co-founder of the 2013 USASBE Outstanding Emerging Entrepreneurship Program at USF St. Petersburg and the SBA’s State of Florida 2013 Small Business Advocate of the Year.

He has a PhD in Management from Florida State University and degrees in business in engineering. Sean served as a commissioned officer in the US Army before holding numerous positions in companies ranging from high tech entrepreneurial startups to the Fortune 500 gaining experience in marketing, operations, audit, general management, and business development. His consulting clients include defense, professional sports, and software companies. Sean resides in St. Petersburg, Florida and is an avid CrossFitter.

She served as the Sr. Project Manager for three major government contracts with the Supervisor of Election Offices for the states of New York, California and Illinois. She also served as the Project Manager under WellCare, a Fortune 500 healthcare management company who handles Medicaid and Medicare members for 15 states. She has also served as a Sr. Project Manager for a government contracting software company, SOE Software, who developed online learning applications for poll worker training, diversity training and ADA compliance training. She has been contracted by Verizon, General Motors, and Ford.

In addition to her corporate and government contracting, she created various interactive and media applications for academic institutions and state universities. Ms. Cordero received her Master’s of Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology and is currently completing a Ph.D. in Technology at the University of South Florida. She also holds two Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology and Sociology.

Mo Eppley

In 2003, Mo founded MityMo Design, a creative services agency built to help small businesses develop and prepare communications tools in support of promotion, sales, marketing and branding.

After 10 successful years, they rebranded themselves to become MityMo Creative, a name fully encompassing the range of their work with diverse clientele. The creative services agency has helped countless startups, non-profits, political candidates and established companies with branding, marketing, direct mail and web development.

In addition to MityMo Creative, Mo has been a leader in several other startups, including EcoCity Partners, L3C and the newly launched Tangible Labs and the web project

Mo has served on the board of several non-profits and civic organizations, including Tampa Bay Living Green and Suncoast Tiger Bay.

Eddy Borja

He graduated in 2009 from the University of Miami with a degree in Computer Science. Eddy constantly immerses himself in all aspects of technology, business and user experience.

Alfred Goldberg

Alfred Goldberg co-founded Absolute Mobile Solutions in 2000 and has worked with innovative mobile technology companies and their customers in over a dozen countries.

Alfred holds the Mobile Marketing Association’s Tier-1 Certification, a professional distinction received by demonstrating knowledge obtained while working in the Mobile Marketing industry.

Alfred is an instructor at the International Academy of Design and Technology and has taught mobile design, development, and mobile marketing to over 200 students. He has also held a number of mobile marketing workshops around the world.

Alfred is a frequent public speaker who has presented at over 100 industry events. He utilizes his broad knowledge to communicate the most complex solutions in clear, direct ways customers embrace and utilize.

Alfred devotes a great deal of his time giving back to his community and has held leadership roles in a number of organizations that support technology entrepreneurship and the creative industries.
